My paintings: the theme is memory through the architecture of the landscape
My textile practice: the connection between textiles and culture.
I prefer to work in historical environments; and in response to museum collections.
I studied contemporary fine art, printmaking and textile art at City Lit, UH and UAL. I am a former Digswell Arts Fellow, currently working from my studio, The Loom Room, at Waterhall Farm, Whitwell.
Recent shows: You will find me showing locally in Hertfordshire, and previously at Renewal at WAC Gallery, London; Four Seasons at Obsidian Art, Aylesbury; & in Letchworth, at Fenners gallery and Letchworth: a Vision of Utopia.
I've also trained as an Illustrator and am currently working on:
- a children's poetry book
- a series of illustrated children's stories about two adventurous grannies!
- the book Poppy Goes To School is about to be published!
I have recently had two PG short stories published by Belwood Publishing.
